Limited Edition 2026 Boneyard Boulder Bash Shirt - Order by 10/1

Boneyard Boulder Bash is about trying hard, doing something that scares you a little, cheering for the people around you, and having a good time doing it.

You don't need to have competed before. You don't need to be the strongest climber in the gym. Show up, try hard things, be kind, and hype each other up.

When You Arrive

Arrive on time for check-in so you have plenty of time to get settled-in and warm up.

You'll receive:

• 1 scorecard to tally your attempts and log your sends
• 1 session wristband identifying your session — which also doubles as your free drink ticket for the day (kombucha, beer, soft drink)
• 2 raffle tickets to enter for prizes later
• Your Boneyard T-shirt (if you purchased one during pre-registration)

How the Comp Works

Each session gets 3 hours of climbing time.

Your top 5 sends count toward your final score. Keep track of your attempts, because attempts will be used as the tie-breaker.

Sends are peer-reviewed and must have 2 initials on your scorecard to count.

Scorecards must be turned in no later than 10 minutes after your session ends.

Sessions 1 and 2 have a 1-hour overlap, so expect the gym to get extra lively during that hour. Plan your climbs accordingly, make room for each other, and keep those good comp vibes going.

How to Win + Prizes

This is a raffle-based competition, so anyone can win something.

Every competitor starts with 2 raffle tickets. Podium finishers get trophies, bragging rights, and a stack of extra raffle tickets:

1st Place: +25 raffle tickets
2nd Place: +15 raffle tickets
3rd Place: +10 raffle tickets

You must be present during awards—or have a friend there in your place—to win a raffle prize.

One raffle prize per person.

Party!

We're going full VV Halloween.

Perk'd Coffee will be here in the morning, Latin Lunchbox will be serving lunch and dinner, and we'll have a handful of local vendors hanging out throughout the day.

VV will also be providing free kombucha, beer, and soft drinks. Your session wristband includes one free drink.

COSTUMES. If you've spent a Halloween with us before, you know we go big for Halloween.

Each session wraps up with its own Costume Contest + Awards + Raffle.

Do this year's heron and raccoon skull look familiar? They're a play on the raccoon + heron from our 2025 Swamp Comp in-house design. 

We loved the original enough that VV sponsored 10 people to get it tattooed.
